Profile & Settings

The Profile page is where you manage your personal information and how vondo looks and behaves. Open it from your avatar in the sidebar (desktop) or top menu (mobile).

This page covers the everyday personal stuff. For:

  • Plans, trial, billing, invoicesPlans & Billing

Account information

Display name

Your display name appears on the profile page and anywhere vondo greets you. Edit it in the Display name field and click Save. There are no rules — first name, full name, nickname, all work.

Email address

Your email is shown read-only. It’s the address you registered with and the destination for security messages (password reset codes, verification codes, MFA recovery codes), billing emails (invoices, receipts, trial reminders), and anything else important.

Need to change your email? This isn’t supported through the UI yet. Contact support if you need to update it.


Preferences

Preferences save instantly when you change them — no separate Save button. Try one and watch it apply.

These two preferences are personal — each member of a household picks their own. They don’t affect anyone else.

Language

Choose between English and Español. The change applies immediately across the entire app, including this help site (which has separate language sections in the sidebar). Switch back and forth as you like.

Theme

Pick the appearance of the app:

Option Behavior
System Follows your device’s setting. Switches automatically when your OS does (e.g. macOS scheduling Dark Mode at sunset).
Light Light mode regardless of your device setting.
Dark Dark mode regardless of your device setting.

System is the default for new accounts. Charts, tables, forms — everything respects the theme. The Reports page in dark mode is particularly satisfying to look at.

Looking for Currency or Timezone? Those live on the household, not on your user account — see Households → Currency and timezone. Everyone in the household sees the same currency and the same month boundaries; only the Owner can change them.


The Terms of Service are accessible from the Profile page. vondo tracks the version of the terms you accepted and when. If the terms ever update, you’ll be asked to review and accept the new version before continuing.


Sign out

Use Sign out from the user menu to end your session. On your next sign-in, vondo will ask for your email, password, and (if enabled) your two-factor code.
